Dance and Recreation: “Improvisations”

Abstract

One of our aims with this work is to better comprehend the mechanisms and specific features of recreation projects. In this effort, we have dedicated ourselves to investigating the specific features of each of the different artisitic languages. Our main aim with this article is to present our reflections upon the incorporation of dance in recreation projects, with an analytical look at the current organizational stage of this art. More than just thinking of a process of education through art, we are interested in reflecting upong education for dance and its outcomes, as we believe this has been a lesser discussed dimension of the issue in the academic field of Dance and Physical Education. We also want to reflect upon the field of leisure activities. KEY WORDS: Dance - Recreation.
