Sports and leisure projects appear increasingly linked to activities of curricular complement presenting justifications of implementation that range from the discourse to the improvement of the quality of education to the perspective of gradual expansion of the school day. Thus, in the context of the discipline physical education was aimed to understand if the physical infrastructure of schools can influence the existence of sports and leisure projects. We analyzed 1,262 state schools in Paraná and the data showed that the type of infrastructure available at the school is a determining factor.
