INFLUENCES OF MEGA EVENTS SPORTS ON THE AGENDA AND POLICY SPORTS: PLANNING, ARRANGEMENT INSTITUTIONAL PLANNING LEGAL AND FINANCING.

Abstract

This paper deals with the mega sports events, specifically on the influence exercised on the agenda and sports policies. Therefore, a literature review of mega sports events and sport policy was carried out and documentary research, qualitative approach and exploratory nature. It was noticed that the mega sports events are associated more with market issues (re) structuring of new markets, cities and economic niches and less sport democratization issues. What caused changes in planning, institutional and legal arrangements and in sport funding in Brazil.
