Abstract

Proposes a reflection on the important presence of unreliable narrators in literary and audiovisual fiction, especially in the 21st and 21st centuries. There is a theoretical basis, which uses authors from different fields of research, and a brief analysis of the narratives of contemporary TV series contemporary. However, much of the text is dedicated to a comparative study of the short story “O Diário de Redegonda”, by Arthur Schnitzler, and the film “Menos que nada”, by Carlos Gerbase, in order to capture as the narrative unreliability of the work of Schnitzler has been translated into the audiovisual context.
