Abstract

Starting from the philosophy of Gilbert Simondon and the tradition of media theory developed on the second half of the 20th century by authors such as Marshall Mcluhan and Friedrich Kittler, as well as from the concepts of ecology proposed by Félix Guattari and Gregory Bateson, this paper attempts to introduce the notion of an ecology of material media of communication as a problematic fild to deal with the current technical means of production and reverberation. Repeating the direction of authors such as Matthew Fuller and Jussi Parikka, the attempt will be to account for the entangled materiality of our technical networks with the contingencies and infidelities of our environment.
