Abstract

In this paper we place a set of anti-racist scalar actions carried out by the institution Health, Development and Education Community (in Portuguese: Comunidade de Saúde, Desenvolvimento e Educação) in 2019 in the city of Porto Nacional, Tocantins, Brazil. The research methodology compares the data of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics with those of the authors of epidemiology, health geography, documental sources, informal interviews, and with the own reality of Porto Nacional. We noted that the activities of the Health, Development and Education Community take place in schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and health centers by articulating education and nutrition since its creation. We concluded that its community actors articulate a set of reparations for racial equality, bringing together social movements, health professionals, teachers, and artists. The connections of the Health, Development and Education Community go through food and sanitation, income, education level and birth rates, housing and nutrition.

KEYWORDS: health, education and anti-racist scales.
