EVALUATION OF LEARNING IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING IN GEOGRAPHY

Abstract

This paper has the objective to bring some reflections about teaching of Geography, and later argue the evaluation of learning basing on social constructivism has the focus of analysis the school geography. Towards the actual framework of different conceptions of the act to evaluate and be evaluated, it is important to continue with the debate and discussions about the evaluation practice, as it is believed that the school evaluation is a process by which we be watching, verify, making analyses and interprets the process of knowledge construction, paying attention to relevant data, with the objective to make decisions in pursuit of effective learning. I understand that this discussion should happen also within the school Geography. Efforts should be focused to there be learning, considering that the geography ministry in the classroom is very important to the daily lives of students. In this regard, the theorists who study the teaching of geography have been defend the idea that education should be used as a reference the place of the experience of students, such information is assumed in this paper and for this to occur, it is believed that the way to evaluate more efficient is the formative evaluation.
