Clues for scenic tiles: elements of heritage as materiality in basic education

The work reported is the result of a Working Mission of the Capes Print Internationalization Program – UFBA carried out in 2022 in the city of Évora (PT) linked to the Center for Art History and Artistic Research (CHAIA) - UEVORA. The objective of this mission was to develop an artistic pedagogical action intensifying the encounter of different knowledge between Brazil and Portugal, considering their forms of subjectivation through the establishment of creative theatrical paths, involving public space, heritage, memory, affection and belonging. The methodological approach included action planning meetings with teachers and artists; field research, identification and preparatory visits to relevant tile heritage sites in Évora; heritage discovery route with children, teachers and artists from the 3rd and 4th years of the EB1 Cruz da Picada School; guidance of two dramatic improvisation sessions with children, around the theme; conception and execution of documentary and photographic exhibition. The results obtained are aimed at improving the training of teachers, educators in general and researchers in Performing Arts Pedagogy.
