New records of Jacquemontia Choisy (Convolvulaceae) for the Tocantins state, Brazil

During the survey of the species of Convolvulaceae of Tocantins State, Brazil, it were verifiedthe occurrence of four species of Jacquemontia Choisy which represent new records for the State of Tocantins. The botanical samples were deposited in herbaria CEN and UB. The identifications were made with the help of the specific literature and the following taxa were referred as new records: Jacquemontia gracilis Choisy, J. gracillima (Choisy) Hallier f., J. sphaerocephala Meisn., and J. velutina Choisy. The morphological descriptions of the species include photographic board, identification key, and phonological data. Relations with other species Jacquemontia are also reported.
