Primeiro registro da predação de larvas de Samea multiplicalis (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) por passáros Furnariidae em plantas de salvinia (Salviniaceae)

Resumo

Certhiaxis cinnamomeus e Furnarius figulus são pássaros pertencentes à família Furnariidae que ocupam diferentes habitats associados ao ambiente aquático em todas as regiões do Brasil. A alimentação dessas aves é constituída principalmente por animais invertebrados. Registrou-se, de forma ocasional, indivíduos de C. cinnamomeus e F. figulus forrageando sobre plantas de Salvinia auriculata e predando larvas de Samea multiplicalis, em lagoas marginais ao Rio das Mortes, região Campos das Vertentes, Minas Gerais, sendo o primeiro relato dessa interação.
