PARAMETERS FOR NUTRITIVE VALUE OF NINE SUGARCANE VARIETIES CULTIVATED UNDER IRRIGATION

Abstract

The objective of this trial was to evaluate parameters of the nutritional value of nine sugar cane varieties cultivated under irrigation. The treatments constituted of the varieties: RB 72454, RB 835486, RB 845257, SP 813250, RB 855536, SP 835073, SP 801842, SP 801816 and SP 79101. The experimental design was the completely randomized with three replications. The sucrose value (POL) and the relationship neutral detergent fiber NDF/POL differed (P<0.05) among varieties, with smaller relationship NDF/POL on RB 835486 variety. The percentile of fraction C of carbohydrates value was higher (P<0,05) on SP 801816 than for RB 72454, SP 813250 and SP 791011 and of fraction B2 was highest (P<0,05) for SP 835073 than for other varieties evaluated. The fractions A+B1 were highest (P<0.05) on RB 835486 and SP 813250 varieties than for SP 835073, SP 801842 and SP 801816.
