From the location of the modern human ethos, in face of the ontological split that characterizes the relationship of an important part of humanity with the Earth and other coexistences that coexist with us, we propose a consideration of the colonization project to which such humanity is dedicated, albeit at the expense of serious events of existential violence that appear, increasingly potent, as catastrophe, as “the impoverishment of the world” and as marks of an “irresponsibility” justified by the ontological split that promotes, in turn, the absence of care and the mismatch with the diversity of modes of existence which would make up the “cosmopolitical arena” that, we suggest, needs to be (re)known so that the human relationship with the Earth and other coexistences (and its understanding, including by geography) can be “complexified” and enriched.
