Abstract

The translation of the manuscript On My Logic 私の論理について aims to make accessible to Portuguese-speaking readers a very brief text by the Japanese philosopher Kitarō Nishida 西田幾多郎 [1870–1945], a central figure of modern Japanese philosophy and of the so-called Kyoto School. The translated text belongs to the core of Nishida’s reflections on experience, consciousness, and the historicity of the logic of place 場所 [basho], a fundamental concept in his work.
