The paper intends to deal with the actuality of Weberian thought and vocabulary in the face of a dissonance, seen also as full incompatibility, between capitalism and legitimacy, considered in terms of a legal rationality, which leads to a more general discussion about the fundamental aspects of the relation of politics and religion within the current capitalism, without disregarding its course throughout modernity.References
