Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The author (coauthor) holds a PhD or is a doctoral student with advanced research;

The contribution is original, unpublished, consistent with the scope of [rth] (written in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French or Italian) and has not been submitted to another journal.
(Articles derived from dissertations will be considered only and exclusively if they present a substantive change in relation to the original text, that is, if they propose new approaches or further developments. Authors must specific these changes in the section “Comments to the Editor” when submitting his/her paper); -
The manuscript does not contain elements of author identification.
(The authorship - composed of the full name followed by the title, the institution, the e-mail address, as well as the link to the Lattes Curriculum and the ORCID identifier - and other information (such as acknowledgments and mentions to funding agencies) must appear in the section “Comments to the Editor”); - The manuscript was not co-authored with advisors;
- The author does not have articles published in the last two editions of the journal;
- All information related to the submission metadata will be fully filled out;
- The manuscript is in accordance with the submission guidelines (http://bit.ly/2M5aNuA), has gone through grammatical and orthographic revision, is paginated and will be submitted in .doc or .docx file.
Dossier
Received in accordance with the calls of papers (on the portal and on social media) and submitted to your schedules.
Attention: authors must specify which dossier their submission is intended for in the "Comments for the editor" menu.
Articles
Recebidos em fluxo contínuo (via submissão pelo portal), desde que em acordo com o escopo e as diretrizes da Revista.
Translation
A [rth] recebe em fluxo contínuo traduções de artigos, capítulos de livros e documentos originalmente escritos em quaisquer línguas estrangeiras, desde que coerentes ao escopo da Revista. Além da tradução, o texto deverá conter uma pequena apresentação responsável por contextualizar o documento traduzido. As diretrizes de submissão e de avaliação correspondem àquelas para a submissão e avaliação de artigos, exceptuando-se o nível mínimo de formação: graduação em História ou áreas afins.
Importante | a [rth] aceita exclusivamente traduções de textos em domínio público ou que possuam a devida autorização dos detentores dos direitos autorais, a qual deve ser enviada juntamente na submissão.
Interview
Recebidas em fluxo contínuo. As diretrizes de submissão e de avaliação correspondem àquelas para a submissão e avaliação de artigos, exceptuando-se o nível mínimo de formação: graduação em História ou áreas afins.
Ensaio
Recebidos em fluxo contínuo. As diretrizes de submissão correspondem àquelas para a submissão de artigos. Quanto à avaliação, devido à sua especificidade, os ensaios serão analisados por três pareceristas ad hoc, responsáveis por arbitrar a respeito de sua relevância.
Resenha
A [rth] recebe em fluxo contínuo dois tipos de resenha:
1. Resenha descritiva | objetiva um tratamento geral da obra, destacando seus principais aspectos (incluindo a apresentação do autor) e explicitando sua relevância para o âmbito da Teoria da História (incluindo a contextualização do tema). Não deve conter notas de rodapé e referências bibliográficas.
1.1. Serão aceitas exclusivamente resenhas descritivas de obras cuja publicação ocorreu nos últimos três anos.
2. Resenha crítica | objetiva não somente um tratamento geral da obra, como também apresenta um juízo que deve ser argumentativamente sustentado. Dessa forma, serão aceitas resenhas críticas com notas de rodapé e com referências bibiográficas.
2.1. As diretrizes de submissão e de avaliação correspondem àquelas para a submissão e avaliação de artigos;
2.2. Serão aceitas preferencialmente resenhas críticas de obras cuja publicação ocorreu nos últimos três anos. Casos excepcionais serão avaliados pelos Editores Executivos e pelo Conselho Editorial.
