This paper analyzes four novels written by the contemporary Portugueseauthor Helena Marques. The main focus is on the feminine narrative and the
intertwinement of nature in the spaces in which the novels take place, and
the influence and effect of the earth, flora and fauna on the characters – the
Ecofeminism.
