Abstract

It is an interview with the poet Horácio Costa done between October 22nd and 24th, 2022, to the thesis Configurations of male homoeroticism in Brazilian poetry (2022). The research investigates the theme in part of the literary production of the country from the 17th to the 21st century and finalizes in A hora e vez de Candy Darling (2016) by him. The questions below examine general aspects of his poetry and unravel some elements of this importante work. His poetry has been challenging the heterocentrism of the Brazilian literary canon and has stood out, among other things, to use trans-homocultural references.
