Segmental phonology of language Kano-a preliminary analysis

This paper presents a preliminary phonological analysis of Kanoê, an isolated Brazilian Indian language, wich is nowadays spoken by four or five peoples south of Rondônia, Brazil. The fieldwork was carried out in June and July 1990. This analysis was developed according the principies of descriptive linguistics.
