This essay analyses Quarks, the third book of poems by Carlos Fernando Magalhães. Its title is related to Quantum Physics, disclosing to us an underlying poetic theory.
This study attempts to prove that this avant-garde poet at this time structures his work under the influence of japanese hai-kai, which he renews at the same time retaining the Occidental identity of his poetry.
