This article aims to discuss dimensions of inclusion and exclusion, in the context of literary studies. The first part of the article deals with a theoretical discussion that tries to problematize the concepts of inclusion and exclusion, from a transdisciplinary perspective, in order to verify how these questions are in line with the interests of literary studies. In the second part, the article illustrates this discussion, drawing on Doron Rabinovici’s novel Ohnehin and seeking to identify how inclusion and exclusion strategies are represented in this specific text. To conclude, the article identifies three key movements for the discussion of this question in literary studies: the strategies of character positioning, the dynamics of meaning management and the conditioning of perception.
