Abstract

The text reflects on the need for change in the paradigms used in the Reading of literary texts. It advocates that literature carries a specific knowledge that is associated with the construction of meaning to humans. The text presentes an autopoietic reading of Mia Couto’s universe in accordance with the broader proposition of the text that draws on the theories of complexity and hermeneutics as reading assumptions.
