Abstract

This article proposes a reading of the works written by Jorge Luis Borges and Italo Calvino according to the collection key. From the relation between the collection,  just  as  studied  by Walter  Benjamin  and  Ivette  Sanchez,  and  the issue of all, runs up some works of the Argentine and Italian writers identifying to what extent they are marked by reflections related to collecting and pointing out some narrative strategies of the authors corresponding to that perspective, such as the infinity end, enumeration, the mise en abyme and repetition with minor variations.
