The art of telling stories has always been part of human life, and for a long time, it was an essential way for society to ensure the preservation of memory and knowledge. The African continent is one place where this art is vigorously present. Different researchers have taken the poetic expressions of oral tradition as a distinctive feature of African cultures. On Brazilian soil, it is also possible to witness the maintenance of oral art, and in many narratives, Africa takes the floor to promote a heavy presence of Bantu languages in Brazilian Portuguese.Downloads
