This study intends to present evidences of non-existence of the subject in existential predicates of the Guaja language (Tupi-Guarani family) and to defend the hypothesis that this characteristic can be extended to the other languages of the family. The interpretation of the syntactic status of the person markers in Guaja existential predicates is the key to substantiate this hypothesis.Downloads
