Abstract

The erotic experience lived by the florbeliano poetic subject is a result of a close relationship between the Self and Nature. In this connection, all elements share and enjoy the same desire, the same erotic fever. Contemplating, observing, understanding the natural environment cause sensations that raise the erotic desire, and any scene becomes pure sensuality. Sensual, erotic experience is the lyric self’s experience and, sometimes, the Other’s (the lover), even though he is not always present. This article aims to analyze some florbeliano poems in the thematic field of the loving feeling and eroticism to check the kind of relationship that is established in the complex game of love, taking into account the erotic, love and divinity. To perform the analysis of the poems, theoretical discussions about love and eroticism, based on authors such as Barthes, Paz, Costa, Platão, Elkins among others, who set the tone and pointed the way to reach the proposed goal. The choice of poems to be analyzed focused on those in which the erotic Florbela nudes herself in front of the reader’s eyes.

Doutorado em Literatura pela UFSC (2008) e Mestrado em Teoria Literária pela UNICAMP. Atualmente é professor adjunto da UEPG, no Paraná, Brasil, no curso de Letras e no programa de mestrado Linguagem, Identidade e Subjetividade. Tem experiência na área de Literatura, com ênfase em Poesia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: estudos literários, literatura brasileira, teoria literaria, literatura e mulher com publicações em periódicos.
