Literary studies left in the shade the large capacity of allusion to the historical world of lyrical books. One possible explanation for this is the complexity of the lyric text as an expression of individual feelings and emotions. However, we postulate that the world of the poem does not shun to the dialogue with history, since the lyric is a way for humans to express their relationship with space and time. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relationship between poetry and history in the first part of the book O nome das coisas by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen (1977).Downloads
