Abstract

The objective of this paper is to demonstrate that the text "The Art of Suggestion" is a form of critical argumentation constituted by a specific rhetorical arrangement of persuasion from differing statements. With this understanding, we set out on a rhetorical-semiotic analysis of the said text through rhetorical and semiotic methodological principles that combine analytical rhetorical and semiotic tools with the objective of discovering underlying senses.
