BEHAVIOR OF SOYBEAN LINES AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS AND SOWING DATES IN THE GOIÁS STATE, BRAZIL
Keywords:
Glycine max, fenology, yieldAbstract
The objective of this study was to access the yield behavior of soybean lines at four different sowing dates and three sites. The trials were carried out with fourteen experimental breeding lines and four commercial cultivars (checks). The experimental design was randomized complete blocks with three replications for each sowing date. Each experimental plot was made up of four planting 5.0 m rows, 0.50 m spaced. The following variables were evaluated: number of days to flowering, number of days to maturation, final plant height, and grain yield. It was concluded that Conquista cultivar presented the highest grain yields in the eleven environments. Among the experimental lines, L-07, L-09, L-11, L-12, L-13, L-14, L-16, and L-113 showed good performance for grain yield. Goiânia was the site that ranked best the genotypes for grain yield, in all-sowing dates.
