Land Rights and Human Rights in the Face of Environmental Emergency.
Keywords:
human rights, rights of the Earth, climate emergency, global environmental changesAbstract
Based on scientific data indicating that the environmental changes produced by capitalism are leading to the progressive and accelerated collapse of conditions that support human life, the rights of the Earth will be examined in their intimate relationship with human rights. From an anthropocentric perspective, stemming from necessity, we aim to converge with biocentric currents more clearly oriented by ethical, legal, and cultural principles. Through the "emergency approach", we will attempt to contribute to the reflection on strategies capable of mobilizing and making human actions more effective in favor of transformations that can ensure the rights of the Earth.
