PUBLIC ORDER, CATECHESIS AND CIVILIZATION IN THE PROVINCE OF GOIÁS

The presidents of Goiás province, following the normative established in the Mission Statute, 1845, started several actions to advance in the natives catechesis and civilization, in order to introduce his "social life". However, the autochthon offer resistance, in obeying directions of state, creating obstruction growing the activities farming and cattle raising in the region. The president's recommendation was the force, where the order and the public security, as well the country's prosperity, had been warranted.
