The objective of this work is to analyze the symbolic and iconographic values of a group of Spanish bridges made during the Modern Era. Specifically, 26 bridges have been selected, on which the study is configured. The analysis carried out has started from the decorative, structural-architectural elements and the sculptures themselves, if they appear. In a specific way, bridges with complex architectural structures have been taken into account, such as attached or superimposed chapels, gables, pavilions, niches and sculptures. The set of selected works has allowed us to establish areas of influence in which certain models are reproduced and define the main iconographic characteristics of these sets, allowing us to verify the taste for the location of sculptures that represent the patron saints of the town or saints important for the region
