Abstract

This brief study is an afterthought of early 21st century studies. It aims to reflect and deepen the view on the relations of christianity in the iberian peninsula in the transition from the roman empire to the visigothic kingdom of Toledo. It seeks to show how the siege of the jews, who until the early fourth century were a tolerated minority, sharpened and in the visigothic kingdom became a project of forced conversion and persecution / repression of alleged Jewish resistance by the monarchy allied with the visigothic hispanic church.
