Abstract

During 18th century, and part of 19th, Goiás Captaincy received many enslaved Africans, showing its insertion in the infamous Atlantic slave trade, witch used a complex system of classification. In spite of geographic distance, far from littoral, Goiás was an internal part of transatlantic trade. However, we don’t know much about the routs from this new continental walk. This text will answer these questions and identify Goiás participation in this commerce.
