Abstract

doi: 10.5216/ree.v12i3.11144

Facing the challenge put to the institutions of graduation in health sciences to graduate competent professionals to act in the scope of Single Health System (SUS) the aim of this paper was to discuss the SUS as reference in the nurse formation process, articulating with an implantation of the Nursing Course Curriculum Directives  (DCN / ENF). Recent studies were used, as a reference, pointing to the strengths and weaknesses of graduation curses in this process of construction and approximation. The articulation of the sector of education with the sector of health is essential to the scope of changes in management and practice of health. From real life experiences and, in the midst of challenges and barriers in the practice of education and health, we constructed assessments and placements which re-orient the ways and the tools to be thought and used in the overshoot of the distancing of the nurses graduation with their practices in the SUS. We conclude that even teachers, managers and profissionals were challenged front of the need of an innovator knowledge in pedagogical practices articulated with the SUS Orientations, that show historically chronic facts; of scenes diversity in the practice, evaluation and continuous formation reconduction.
