Abstract

In the Brazilian banking institutions, we find a double movement: bankers with economical and political power which assures them profits of billions of reais annually; workers who face each time more intense forms of work domination and the weakness of their resistance capacity. Our objective is to introduce some determinants factors of worker’s health in the bank industry and present an alternative of physical education related to worker’s health, applying the presumptions from the action research. We conclude that the pedagogical intervention overcame some identified limits in the hegemonic proposals of labor gymnastics. Therefore, we search to take care of the category’s necessities and aspirations by understanding its heath-disease process.
