The article raises thoughts on the possibilities of the blind body and the interaction with the dance in the construction of autonomy. Authors such as Fleming, Frazão and Lusseyran point to questions about the network woven by the senses in the formation of sensory-motor images by the visual disabled. Damásio contributes to the understanding of emotion and reason; Llinás explains the construction of the movement based in Neurosciences; Katz brings the Corpomídia theory to think dance as cognition. The final considerations observe dance as part of the human knowledge being an space that allows the connection of knowledge, because the human being is built into the network between body, environment and culture.
