The aim of this article is to describe and analyze the discussed and observed contents from a training course directed to physical educators of social program. The data were collected during the course from a logbook and a focus group during the course. It is concluded that the themes related to social vulnerability must be taken into consideration in the process of reformulation of the proposal of the basic and continuing formation to physical educators professionals or exercise of their professional practice, allowing the understanding of the role of the educator and social programs in the integration of social support among children in vulnerable situations.
