Abstract

This article examines the juncture of the agroindustrial sector producer of tomatoes for processing through the verification of the recent strategic moves of companies as well as the rest of the production chain, they can show the impacts of the relationship between the sector producer of raw material and the processing industry. With that, it is possible to identify the new organizational fields from the interests of that relationship. The dynamism of the production that takes into account the deepening of specialization and diversification productive, and other strategies, aimed at increasing the productivity and the search for greater profitability. As consequences, the result of this process was a new dynamism to the industry and changes in location, designing also problems such as concentration of supply of products, the acceleration of technological change, regional imbalances and environmental impacts from such new organizational model based on contracts.
