Abstract

This paper is a theoretical review focused on the environmental racism category. To understand its relevance to national geographical thought, I bring out contributions from the paradigms: of citizenship, biopolitics, and racism. I intend not only to discuss the emerging concept of environmental racism, but also to verify the hypothesis that land use may be determined by skin color.

Keywords: Racism. Environmental Racism. Citizenship. Biopolitics. Resistance.
