ABSTRACT: SAMAÚMA is a giant tree of the amazon rainforest and many indigenous peoples take her as a library. Her large roots are sonorous devices that communicate through the reverberations beaten into its trunk. SAMAÚMA presents us with other forms of writing with which we are going to perform. Taking a tree as a collective body and as a multitude of different beings such as animals, microorganisms and plants, our role will be to create a translating experience of multiple spellings and symbiosis.
KEYWORDS: Tree. Performative Writing. Poetic translation.
