Abstract

Gilson P. Borges interviewed the scenographer and costume designer José de Anchieta (Costa), in São Paulo, Brazil, on 08/14/2014, when he talked about his childhood memories, career, creative process and his experience in the United States, in plays directed by Cacá Rosset. José de Anchieta Costa nasceu em Caruaru/PE, em 23 de fevereiro de 1948. É um diretor, cenógrafo e figurinista de teatro, cinema, televisão e publicidade brasileiro. Iniciou sua trajetória no final dos anos 60. Dirigiu um único filme para o cinema, Parada 88, o limite de alerta , um dos raros filmes de ficção científica brasileiros, e do qual foi também roteirista, além de cenógrafo e figurinista.
