THE PARTICIPATION OF ANIMATED FORMS OF THEATRE LAB IN THE SPECTACLE THE BIG GOVERNOR OF THE LIZARDS ISLAND COMPOSITION

The present work demonstrate the process of creating dolls by Animated Forms of Theatre Lab – LATA, tin for the show The Great Governor of the Lizards Island, original text of Antonio José da Silva (1734), staged by teachers and students of the School of Music and Performing Arts at the Federal University of Goiás - EMAC / UFG during the IV International Seminar of Musicology (2014), as well as procedures on the interpretation focused on the manipulation of puppets. The process described above is linked to the objectives of the Extension and Culture Project proposed by the LATA, which include research, artistic and academic production related to animation theater, language characterized by the presence of object or objectified body, imbued with the idea of life by through procedures and performing conventions. The experiments are reported by the puppets builder, professor Francisco Guilherme, and the assembly of actor-protagonist, professor Saulo Dallago, accompanied by a theoretical reflection on the interpretation / manipulation of animated shapes used in the spectacle.Downloads
