Dialogues between sound and color

The dialogue between sound and color is present throughout history, relating the fields of art, music, literature, technology and communication. This relationship has a lot to say about perception. To discuss this theme, a bibliographical research is carried out and the relationship between sounds and colors is investigated when materialized in images, videos, texts and other artifacts. In this work, Synesthesia will be the concept involved in the investigation of these relations. The contribution of the present work to the studies of perception is emphasized, contributing to the ways of seeing and its various instances, the media of communication and the forms of experience.
