This is an exploration of three perspectives on the relationship between our way of living or being in the world and between discursive practices different from those of traditional philosophy. Initially, the Heideggerian perspective on the idea of a poetic dwelling as a distinct attitude and sensitivity towards beings in general will be explored. Next, in response to the supposed Heideggerian distance from the ordinary scope of beings in everyday occupation, Paul Ricoeur's narrativist hermeneutics will be explored, especially in what it offers for reflection on the theme of personal identity. Finally, the floor will be given to the novelist, often considered “philosophical”, Milan Kundera, whose conception of the novel allows, in the wake of the hermeneutists' reflection, to outline a program for the cultivation of a very special and often forgotten sensitivity and attitude in our scattered wanderings in everyday life.
