The text articulates the itinerary of the author's investigation from the question about the foundation of morality to the emergence of a naturalist conception. Between one point and another, it shows the difficulties to articulate action, value and duty —normativeness— from an immanent point of view. The axis around which the basic elements of morality are linked in the naturalist pitch is the description of the structure of normativity based on reciprocal and reflexive wants. Normativity, according to this description, would be the result of wants that constrain each other while they want the other wants concerned to want what they want, in a movement that also constrains themselves, therefore, reflexive. The text ends with a list of two working hypotheses whose confirmation completes the naturalist conception and qualifies it to facilitate the dialogue between science and morality.
