“O brilhar da natureza é uma parusia superior”:
natureza e superação da metafísica

The article is a phenomenological discussion about nature. Based on Heidegger's late thought, it is developed around the overcoming of the metaphysical determination of natural reality as constant presence. To this end, the reflection is guided by a verse from Hölderlin's late poems, whose clarification leads to the questioning the meaning of the notion of presence (ousia) and its reference to absence (apousia) and, after that, to the essential relationship between being and appearance. In this direction, it is shown that the sublime appearance of nature is the struggle and unity between parousia and apousia.
