Abstract

O artigo trata das relações entre mito e filosofia enquanto formas do discurso humano. A análise filosófica da narrativa mítica a partir do modelo metafórico e a compreensão da consciência mítica, como forma originária da presença do ser humano no mundo, revelam o mito como sabedoria, pela qual os grupos humanos garantiram sua sobrevivência e identidade e na qual formulam o sentido de sua existência.
