ANALYSIS OF FOOTH-AND-MOUTH DISEASES CARRIED OUT IN GOIÁS IN THE CHRONOLOGICAL SERIES 1977-1992

Abstract

In order to analyse the behavorial evolution of foot-and-mouth disease in Goiás, from 1977 to 1992, in order to track its range of frequency and distribution, it was used morbi-mortality data, which contributed for the evaluation of incidence, attack and lethality data, with the respective tendencies. The evaluation of ways to diagnostic, the most common virus and its chronological conduct were studied too. The results in the focus number and incidence data were in decrease, Y = 333.81 - 0.38X and Y = 22.17 - 0.25X. An increased range was observed in lethality data (Y = 7.64 + 1.15X) and attack (Y = 10.27 + 0.03X). The clinic diagnostic and the virus type A (57.58%) were the most common data in the focus.
