ESTIMATE OF ONE OF THE EQUATIONS OF INTENSE RAINS FOR SOME PLACES IN THE STATE OF GOIÁS

Abstract

The estimate of the equations of intense rains was proceeded for some places of the State of Goiás using the methodology of the disaggregation of the rain of 24 hours that allowed the comparison of the results of the maximum precipitation intensities obtained by the equations with those obtained by equations adjusted based on recording gage data. The methodology of this study allowed to generate the relationship intensityduration-frequency based on pluviometric data, and it showed tobe adapted with values of ERM smaller than 14,4%, what allows its use in places where there is not readiness of registrations recording gage.
