INFLUENCE OF THE PERIOD OF YEAR IN Caryocar brasiliense CAMBESS (CARYOCARACEAE) GRAFTING
Abstract
This experiment was carried out at Escola de Agronomia/Universidade Federal de Goiás (Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil) in order to evaluate the rate of success grafting in Caryocar brasiliense Cambess. Cleft grafting was made for ten consecutive months, from August 1990 to May 1991. Sixty days later, the highest rates of success were observed when grafting was performed in August 1990 (40%) and January 1991 (40%), March (50%) am May (40%).
